Report number

APM automatically assigns a unique, sequential number to each inspection report on creation. Number formatting is defined in inspection report settings.

The name or short description of this item. You can enter up to 250 characters.

Report type

The report type sets the default approval and report status values. It also determines what checksheet information is copied to the inspection report.

Asset

Main asset for the report, typically a system or parent for the assets analyzed.

Analyzed by

Employee assigned to complete the report. The list contains employees with the maintenance inspector role. If your organization uses the APM approval process, this employee is considered the person responsible for having the report approved.

Report status

Status indicates a stage in the report’s development. Statuses define rules, such as whether the report’s properties can be changed. They can also trigger events when they are applied to a report, for example, calculating the standard task next due date.

Readings related to the report meet regulatory inspection requirements

If you conclude that the inspections analyzed in the report meet the requirements of the governing body, you can return to this tab and select Readings related to the report meet regulatory inspection requirements. If the report status supports this option, each of the indicator readings on the checksheets are updated as “regulatory inspections”.
