Asset number

The number used to identify the asset. When you create an asset, APM automatically enters a unique asset number, but you can change it if necessary. Each asset must have a unique number not more than 50 characters long. If this box is left blank or if the number is not unique, an error message appears.

Title

The name or short description of this item. You can enter up to 250 characters.

Name	The name of the indicator. You can enter up to 50 characters. For example, you may create indicators called Odometer, Inlet Pressure Gauge, and Oil Temperature Gauge.

Frequency

Select the expected frequency with which the readings should be collected. This information is used to select indicators in lists and as matching criteria on dynamic inspection routes for standard tasks. Note: A frequency must be selected if the indicator is to use a collection window based on a percentage of its frequency.
