Collection window supported

When this option is selected, APM uses the collection window to determine whether indicator readings are early, on time, or late. The window is defined as a percentages of the frequency or within a calendar period.

APM uses one of the following to define the collection window: • Percentages of the indicator’s frequency • Calendar period

Early collection

Percentage of the indicator’s frequency that defines the early collection period. For example, if the frequency is 10 years and the percentage is 10%, the early collection period ends one year before the due date. An indicator reading taken before the early date has the compliance status of “Early”. A reading collected after the early date has the status “On time”.

Late collection

Percentage of the indicator’s frequency that defines the late collection period. For example, if the frequency is 10 years and the percentage is 10%, the late collection period begins one year after the due date. An indicator reading taken after the late date has the compliance status of “Late”. A reading collected before the late date has the status “On time”.

Calendar period

APM uses a calendar period (Day, Week, Month, or Year) to define the collection window. The collection periods have the following characteristics: • Day – The early collection date is 00:00:01 on the due date, and the late collection date is 23:59:59 on the due date. • Week – The early collection date is the first day of the week (at 00:00:01) in which the due date falls. The late collection date is the last day of the week (at 23:59:59) in which the due date falls. • Month – The early collection date is the first day of the month (at 00:00:01) in which the due date falls. The late collection date is the last day of the month (at 23:59:59) in which the due date falls. • Year – The early collection date is the first day of the year (at 00:00:01) in which the due date falls. The late collection date is the last day of the year (at (23:59:59) in which the due date falls.

When the reading’s compliance status is “Early”, the indicator’s next reading due date can be based on either the date the reading was collected or the date that it was due.
