Work type

The work type for the task. Select a work type from the list. The work type that you select may affect the types of information that can be entered on the task, whether or not the task must be approved, the work classifications that can be selected, and the tabs that are available on activity reports. For example, if you select a work type that does not include indicator and snapshots, the task’s Indicators tab will be hidden, and you will not be able to add indicators to the work order task.

Maintenance group

The maintenance group that will perform the task. Select the appropriate maintenance group from the list. For example, you might select a mechanical group, an electrical group, or a preventive maintenance group. APM uses this information to filter and sort lists of tasks for work assignments and scheduling.
