APM assigns a unique, sequential number to each checksheet on the site when the checksheet is created.

Inspection documents

The checksheet’s Inspection Documents status can be one of: • Not applicable – The document types assigned to the checksheet, if any, are not mandatory • Incomplete – Files have not be assigned to all of the checksheet’s mandatory inspection documents • Complete – File locations have been populated for all of the checksheet’s mandatory inspection documents

Minimum readings required

The percentage of indicators that must have readings before the checksheet can be processed.

Subtype

Asset window: If the asset type specifies that a default subtype is available for the asset, it is shown in this box. If more than one subtype is available, you can select a different subtype. When a subtype is selected, a specifications tab for that subtype is added to the asset’s Properties view. Failure window: You can select up to three subtypes for the failure. For each subtype, a tab is added to the Properties view. Indicator windows: If indicator subtypes have been assigned to an indicator type, you can select up to three subtypes. Checksheet and Inspection Report windows: If custom subtypes have been created for checksheets or inspection reports, you can select up to three subtypes.

Work documents system

The master system for work documents. For example, if AssetWise Enterprise Interoperability has been implemented to exchange data with an external CMMS, “Interop” is displayed. Other options include APM, SAP, Maximo, and Oracle eAM.

Readings entry style

One of the following options can be selected: • List of readings only (default) – Readings are listed in a table. You can use in-line editing to add values or double-click a reading to open the Indicator Reading dialog. You can view the table as a form to navigate between individual readings. • List of readings with instructions sidebar – Readings are listed in a table on the left. Instructions for the selected indicator are shown in the sidebar on the right. • Readings list with reading entry panel sidebar – Readings are listed in a table on the left. You can enter readings in the right-hand panel and use the navigation buttons to move from one indicator’s reading to the next.

Include inspection summary

When this option is selected, the Inspection Summary view is added to the checksheet. The inspector can record a summary of findings, analysis, and recommendations. The view includes a summary of actions taken, such as alarm acknowledgments, follow-up tasks, follow-up work requests, failures and anomalies, and failure mode review requests.

Include project repair and modification activities

When selected, this option adds the Modifications view to the Checksheet window. Modification and repair inspection (MRI) checksheets are used to inspect an asset after a major construction project has reached a milestone or completion. Inspection activities ensure that the modifications or repairs are done according to the appropriate standards and codes.

The current status of the checksheet. Possible values are: • Processed • Partially processed • Unprocessed

Percentage complete

The percentage of indicator readings that have been recorded on the checksheet.

Date Processed

The date and time that the checksheet was processed. When APM processes a checksheet, the indicators are updated with the latest readings, and all triggering rules, early warning rules, and calculations associated with the indicators are evaluated.
