The description of the resource. For catalog resources, the system enters this information automatically, and you cannot change it here.

Number of

The total number of items that are required. For example, the number of employees or contractors required for the trade, or the number of tools. If this box is left blank, the system will enter ‘1’ as a default entry. This setting is only applicable to trades, tools, and time-based service resources.

Scheduled for

The amount of time for which each employee, contractor, tool, or service person is required. For example if you are entering a trade requirement, enter how long each employee will need to work on this task. The total time entered for the requirement will be calculated as: Number Of x Scheduled For Note: One day = 24 hours, regardless of the number and type of shifts included on the schedule.

Scheduled Time for this Entry

The amount of time scheduled for this trade requirement on this schedule. This may be different than the original planned trade requirement on the work order task. For example, if the original requirement called for 12 hours of electrician time, and this entry is for a shift schedule, the scheduled time for this entry may be only 8 hours. You would need to make another entry on another shift schedule to fully schedule this trade requirement.

Relationship type

The relationship of the lag to the start of the task. You can select from: • Start to start (SS): The requirement starts when the task is planned to start, offset by any entered lag time. • Finish to finish (FF): The requirement ends when the task is planned to end. The system automatically calculates the required lag time.

Lag

The lag time that is required between this requirement and the planned start time of the task. For example, for a trade requirement with a lag time of two hours, the planned start time for the trade will be two hours after the planned start time for the task. This setting is used when calculating the duration of the schedule entry.
