Requisition Number

The number of this requisition. APM automatically enters the next consecutive 8-digit number, but you can change the number if necessary. You can enter up to 30 characters. If this box is left blank or if the number is not unique, an error message will appear.

Title

The name or short description of this item. You can enter up to 250 characters.

Requested by Employee

The name of the employee who requested this requisition. Click the arrow to select the appropriate employee. If your organization includes multiple sites, the employee’s personnel record and the requisition must be owned by the same site.

Date Required

The date when the requestor needs to have most or all of the items on the requisition. APM automatically enters today's date, but you can change that if necessary by clicking the calendar and selecting the appropriate date. If each requisition line is needed on a different date, you can enter the correct date on the requisition line. If the requisition is referenced to a work order, the date required will be the date indicated on the work order.

Requisition Total Cost

The total cost associated with this requisition. APM automatically calculates this amount, and you cannot change it.

Work Order to Charge

The work order to charge for this requisition. Click the Browse button to select the appropriate work order. If the requisition type is manual, distributed to a single account, and charged to a work order, you can select the work order to be charged with the cost of the requisitioned resources. All of the requisition's lines will be charged to the work order identified here. If your organization includes multiple sites, the work order to charge and the requisition must be owned by the same site.

Work Order Task

The work order task that will be charged with the costs for this requisition. Select the appropriate task from the list.

Charge Type

How the costs for this requisition will be charged: to a work order, to an asset, or to an account.

Asset to Charge

The asset to charge for this requisition. Click the Browse button to select the appropriate asset. If the requisition type is Manual, all costs associated with the requisition can be charged to an asset. All of the purchase order lines will be charged to the asset identified here. If your organization includes multiple sites, the asset to charge and the requisition must be owned by the same site.

Component or Location

If you have selected a component location, you can switch to the component installed in the location by selecting the Component option. If you have selected a component, you can switch to the component’s location by selecting the Location option.

GL Account to Charge

The GL account to charge for this requisition. Click the arrow to select the appropriate account. If the requisition type is manual, distributed to a single account, and charged to that account, you can enter the specific account number to be charged with the cost of the requisitioned resources. All of the requisition’s lines will be charged to the account identified here.

Work order

The work order for which this requisition was created. Work order requisitions are automatically created when the work order is marked as planned. The system enters this information and you cannot change it.

Work Order Status

The current status of the work order. At various stages in the life cycle, APM may assign the following statuses to a task or work order: New, Work in Progress, Scheduled, Completed, Canceled, or Closed. Work planners may also select an appropriate status for the task or work order: In Planning, Planned, Rejected, or Work in Progress. Each task on a work order may have a different status. When work order tasks have different statuses, the work order will show the earliest status of its tasks. For example, if task 1 has a Work in Progress status, but task 2 has an In Planning status, the work order status will be In Planning.
