Resource The name of the resource being viewed. APM automatically enters this information, but you can change it if necessary. If this box is left blank, an error message will appear. The system creates this name from the combination of the names of the warehouse and the linked inventory group. This will be the name users will see when working with warehouse inventory. Use the formatting required by your organization. See Also Secondary location The secondary storage location for this warehouse item. The secondary storage location is the second place to look for the item if there are none or not enough at the primary location. Use the formatting required by your organization. See Also Quantity Counted The quantity of the item counted (in the stocking unit of measure). See Also Unit of Measure The stocking unit of measure used for this item. It is possible to stock, purchase, and issue the item in different units of measure. All inventory balances are expressed in the stocking unit of measure. You can select one of many different units of measure, such as centimeters, inches, each, or case. See Also Unit The serialized inventory resource unit that is being counted on the count sheet. See Also Storage location The location of the item. When a new serialized resource unit is created, you can indicate where the new unit will be stored in the warehouse.
