Rule set
Rule sets are used to apply selected consequence priority (condition) rules to specific groups of assets or sites. For example, when a rule set is assigned to an analysis, only the rule clauses that reference that rule set are used to calculate the asset’s consequence priority or condition.
If the analysis does not have a rule set, only rules that do not reference a rule set are used.

Sequence
The criteria sequence numbers control the order in which the criteria are presented throughout the analysis. A general rule is to order the criteria in the order of importance. Give the most important criterion sequence number 1 and so on.

Maximum score
Identifies the maximum score that can be assigned to a consequence for this criterion. Maximum score can be used to give weight to the criteria. More important criteria will have a higher maximum score.

Weighting factor
The weighting factor raises or lowers the significance of the criteria. The consequence score for the criterion is multiplied by the weighting factor. For example, a weighting factor of 2 on Operating Cost would double the score.
