Default planner

The normal planner for the maintenance group. You can select from a list of employees on the site who are designated planners. When a work request, work order, or standard task is created for an asset, the asset’s default maintenance group supplies the planner for the document, unless the user creating the document is a planner. In that case, the creator is named as the planner. You can update the work documents created for the maintenance group with the default planner by clicking Update Work Documents.

Approval Source

Select whether the project is to be approved independently or with its parent project. • Project will be approved separately: the project has its own approval status. You can also select the project’s approval route. • Approval originates with a higher project: the project’s approval status is based on the status of its parent project. You cannot select an approval route for the project. The project is approved on the same route as its parent project.
