Job Number

APM automatically generates this number. PM routes, standard jobs and job templates share a numbering system and must have unique identifying numbers from each other. A standard job cannot have the same number as a job template, or a PM route. You can override the default number if necessary. If this box is left blank or if the number is not unique, an error message will appear.

Task dependencies rule

The dependency rule for this standard job: • Create the default finish-to-start dependency between each work order task: When a work order is created from this job, the tasks will have the standard Finish-to-start dependencies. • Create task links based on the dependencies defined on the job’s tasks: Select this option to allow the creation of dependencies on the job’s tasks. When a work order is created from this job, the job task dependencies will be used. If no dependencies are created on the job, none will be included on the job’s work orders.

Job is Triggered Seasonally

When setting up a seasonal job, work orders are only created during the months specified on the job. Select this option to create a seasonal standard job. You can then enter the period during which the job may be triggered.

Work orders created from this job are automatically marked as ready to send

When a standard job is created in APM, it is assigned a default option to automatically mark work orders as ready to send when they are generated from a triggered standard job. The next time that outbound processing takes place, the work orders are sent to Maximo.
