Task number

APM automatically generates this number. Standard tasks and task templates share a numbering system and must have unique identifying numbers from each other. A standard task cannot have the same number as a task template. You can override the default number if necessary. If this box is left blank or if the number is not unique, an error message will appear.

When this option is selected, a checksheet is generated from the standard task when a maintenance order is created in SAP. The maintenance order must be associated with the linked maintenance item.

Asset to charge

The asset to charge for the costs of work order tasks created from this standard task. By default, APM enters the asset that was selected as the asset to work on. To select an asset, click the Browse button. If your organization includes multiple sites and the asset to work on is not a component, the asset to charge and the work order must be owned by the same site. When the asset to work on is a component, the asset to charge can be component location owned by any site in the organization.

Override account number/segment

Select this option to change the default maintenance GL account number or segment for work order tasks created from this standard task. The system takes this segment from the default GL account for the asset to charge. If the asset to charge does not have a GL account segment, the system takes the default segment from the first ancestor asset in the physical hierarchy that has a GL account segment. When the account number is overridden, the replacement account number is used on subsequent documents and transactions (work order requirements, timecards, issue transactions, purchase order lines, and receipts). This option will only be available if the work type allows you to override the default general ledger accounts.

Number/segment

The maintenance account segment to be used on a work order task created from this standard task. If your settings enable you to override the default GL account, you can enter the actual account number that you want to use for this standard task.

Troubleshooter

Select this option to have this task included in the list of tasks on a troubleshooter’s timecard. Troubleshooters will be able to select this task when they enter their time worked.

Used for serialized unit repairs

Select this option to indicate that this task template is used to create work orders for repairing failed serialized units. APM may automatically create a work order from this task template whenever a unit of a serialized resource is issued from inventory.

Triggering

You can prevent standard tasks from being triggered unless the asset, site, or both has a designated status. For example, you might want the task to be triggered only if the asset is shut down. This triggering option does not prevent users from manually creating work order tasks from standard tasks. When the asset or site status changes to one that allows the task to be triggered, APM triggers the standard task on its next planned cycle. To restrict triggering of the standard task, select Only triggered when the asset and site have the following statuses. Then select the statuses for which triggering is valid.

Asset indicator creation

When a standard task is created from a template, the indicators on the template are compared to those on the asset that the standard task refers to. If a matching indicator cannot be found on the asset, a new indicator is created on the asset. Select one of the following options: • Match the template’s indicators to the indicators on the standard task asset and its descendants: If matching indicators are not found on the asset to work on or on the asset’s descendants, asset indicators are created on the asset. • Match the template’s indicators to the indicators on the standard task asset only: If matching indicators are not found on the asset to work on, asset indicators are created on the asset, regardless of what indicators exist on the asset’s descendants.

Types of Assets This Task Template May be Used With

You can select the asset types that the task template can be used for. For example, if you have a template for a “rotate tires” task, you may select a “vehicle” asset type for the task. When you select asset types for a task template, you will not be able to create standard tasks from the template for other types of assets. To select one or more asset types for the task template, select the This task template can only be used with the types of assets selected below option. Then, select the check boxes for the asset types that the task template applies to.

Lag or lead time

Specifies how the checksheet’s other planned date is calculated. For example, if “Planned start” is selected and the lag time is 30 days, the planned completion date is set to 30 days after the planned start.

Only one open checksheet allowed at a time

This option limits the standard task to having only one open checksheet at one time. This functionality applies to the manual creation of an additional checksheet, not to checksheet generation, split checksheets, or checksheets created from a standard job.

Integration status

• Not ready to send – The document has been created but has not been marked as “Ready to Send”. • Ready to send – The document has been marked as “Ready to Send” to the CMMS. • Exists in CMMS – An integration event has been created to send the document to the CMMS.

Waiting for outbound processing

If selected, this option indicates that the object has been marked as “Ready to Send”. The next time that outbound messages are processed, the object’s information is sent to the CMMS.

Master system

The system that controls the object’s information.

An equivalent exists in the CMMS

Indicates whether this object is mapped to a matching document in the CMMS.

Identification\ Document number

The identification number of the equivalent document in the CMMS.

CMMS status

The status of the matching document in the CMMS.

Type	The type of SAP task list can be: • E - Equipment • A - General • T - Functional location

Group

Task lists are grouped into task list groups. A task list group includes all maintenance task lists with similar maintenance flows (for example, oil changes for cars and trucks).

Task list counter

Task lists within a task list group are identified by a group counter.

Activity number

The identifier of the Oracle eAM activity.

Last sent on

The date and time when the object was last sent to the CMMS.

Name	The employee’s name. You can enter up to 50 characters. If this box is left blank, an error message will appear.
