Work Order Number The work order number. APM automatically generates this number to ensure that every work order has a unique number. You can override the default number if necessary. Work Order Status The current status of the work order. At various stages in the life cycle, APM may assign the following statuses to a task or work order: New, Work Started, Closed. Work planners may also select an appropriate status for the task or work order: Needs (More) Planning, In Planning, Planned, or Work Started. Each task on a work order may have a different status. When work order tasks have different statuses, the work order will show the earliest status of its tasks. For example, if task 1 has a Work Started status, but task 2 has an In Planning status, the work order status will be In Planning. See Also Work order Work order’s identifier in the CMMS.
