RFQ resource status

The current status of the RFQ resource. RFQ resources can have any of the following statuses: • In planning: The RFQ resource has this status until the RFQ is sent to all suppliers. • Waiting for bids: The RFQ resource has this status after it has been sent to all suppliers and before all of the supplier bids have been entered. • All bids received: The RFQ resource has this status after all supplier bids have been entered. • Analyzed: The RFQ resource has this status after a user has ranked the suppliers bids for the resource. • Awarded: The RFQ resource has this status after it has been awarded to the winning supplier or suppliers. • Cancelled: The RFQ resource has this status if a user has cancelled the RFQ.

Work Order Status

The current status of the work order. At various stages in the life cycle, APM may assign the following statuses to a task or work order: New, Work Started, Closed. Work planners may also select an appropriate status for the task or work order: Needs (More) Planning, In Planning, Planned, or Work Started. Each task on a work order may have a different status. When work order tasks have different statuses, the work order will show the earliest status of its tasks. For example, if task 1 has a Work Started status, but task 2 has an In Planning status, the work order status will be In Planning.

Requisition status

The status of the requisition: In planning, Planned, and Closed. New manual requisitions have the In planning status. If the requisition does not require approval, you must manually mark the requisition as Planned. This indicates that the requisition is ready to be purchased. Requisitions that go through the approval process are set to Planned when they are approved. Receiving the requisitions’s purchase order sets the status to Closed. For replenishment requisitions, the status is automatically set to Planned when the requisition is created. Creating a purchase order for the requisition sets the status to Closed. Note: Requisitions created as a result of work order demands assume the status of the work order.

Requested by Employee

The name of the employee who requested this requisition. Click the arrow to select the appropriate employee. If your organization includes multiple sites, the employee’s personnel record and the requisition must be owned by the same site.

Close Resource Demand

Select this option if you want to close the originating purchase demand at the same time as cancelling the RFQ resource line. If you do not close the demand, the purchase demand will return to being listed as requiring an RFQ.
