The name of the company that supplies this resource. APM automatically enters the supplier’s name, but you can change this information if necessary. If this box is left blank, an error message appears.

Site	The site that owns this supplier resource. This is the site in the hierarchy for which the supplier resource pricing information is to be available for use. Supplier resource prices are also available for use by any child sites.

Purchase type

The options available in the list depend on the type of resource that is selected (material, tool, or service): • Regular purchase: This supplier provides this resource as a new material purchase. • Consignment purchase: The supplier provides this material resource on consignment. • Repair orders: This supplier can supply repairs for this resource. • Service order: This supplier provides this service-type resource. • Equipment rental: This supplier can provide this tool-type resource as an equipment rental.

Supplier Resource Copy Options

Select the option that matches the type of copy that you want to create. Current and future prices, as well as general information will be copied to the new supplier resource. • Create a new supplier resource for a different supplier: The resource, site, and purchase type from the current supplier resource are copied to the new supplier resource. You must select the new supplier on the copy dialog. • Create a new supplier resource for a different resource: The supplier, site, and purchase type from the current supplier resource are copied to the new supplier resource. You must select the new resource on the copy dialog. • Create a new supplier resource for a different site: The supplier, resource, and purchase type from the current supplier resource are copied to the new supplier resource. You may want to do this to create supplier resources with different pricing or ordering information for each site. Note: You can copy a supplier resource to any site that is below the site that owns the supplier and resource. Ownership of suppliers and resources is determined in the site type settings. For example, if suppliers and resources are owned at the top site, you can copy supplier resources to any site in the hierarchy. If the supplier and resource are owned at a site on the lowest level, you cannot copy the supplier resource to another site.
