Contract The number of the contract. APM automatically enters the next consecutive number, but you can change this information if necessary. If this box is left blank or the number is not unique, an error message will appear. See Also Title The name or short description of this item. You can enter up to 250 characters. Status The current status of this contract. Contracts can have the following statuses: • Open • Pricing Agreement Expiring • Expiration Pending • Expired • Being Renewed See Also Ends on Enter the ending date for the period during which this contract is in effect. The expiry date can be no earlier than the effective date. Once the contract has expired, the prices for the resources on the contract will no longer be valid. Note that the contract’s expiry date can be longer than the expiry date for the pricing agreement. See Also Supplier The name of the supplier this contract is with. You can enter the supplier name, or browse to search for the supplier. See Also Buyer Select the name of the employee who is the buyer responsible for this contract. When this employee views the My Desk view, this contract will appear in their list of contracts. See Also Effective date Enter the starting date for the effective period of the new contract. See Also Expiry date Enter the ending date for the effective period of the new contract. See Also Supplier Select the supplier with which your organization has this contract. See Also Name The name of the supplier. You can enter up to 50 characters. If this box is left blank, an error message appears. See Also Supplier reference Enter the supplier’s reference number for the new contract. See Also Site Select the site that this contract is for. The new contract will be owned by the selected site. See Also Buyer Select the buyer that is responsible for the purchases based on this contract. See Also Copy the contract’s resources and prices Select this option to copy the original contract’s resources and prices onto the new contract. If you are creating this contract for a different supplier, the copy process will create new supplier resources for the resources on the contract, if they do not yet exist for the selected supplier. To copy all of the contract’s properties except for the resources and prices, make sure this option is not checked. See Also
