The title of the work order task. APM uses the title of the first task on a work order as the work order title.

Work Order Status

The current status of the work order. At various stages in the life cycle, APM may assign the following statuses to a task or work order: New, Work Started, Closed. Work planners may also select an appropriate status for the task or work order: Needs (More) Planning, In Planning, Planned, or Work Started. Each task on a work order may have a different status. When work order tasks have different statuses, the work order will show the earliest status of its tasks. For example, if task 1 has a Work Started status, but task 2 has an In Planning status, the work order status will be In Planning.

If you have selected to create a repair work order, you can base it on an existing standard job or standard task, or you can create it from scratch: • Based on a standard job: Select the standard job on which you want to base the repair work order. Click Browse to search for the job. • Based on a standard task: Select the standard task on which you want to base the repair work order. Click Browse to search for the task. • From scratch: Select this option to create new work order that is not based on a template. Enter a Title and Work type for the new work order.
